October 2009 to December 2009 CNS/ATM Development and Implementation Plan Status
The implementation status of the “Taipei FIR CNS/ATM Development and Implementation Program” is described below:
ATM System Implementation Plan:

The Site Acceptance Test (Site SAT) for The Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) procurement was completed for the end of September. The System Site Acceptance Test (System SAT) and the 360-hour Confidence Test was complished for the end of November.

ANWS staffs have worked with Thales representatives to conduct the equipment check activity for the ATM System Procurement since 17 September 2009. The equipment check was completed at the end of November. Since 24 August 2009, the SAT testing for six segments, including Simulation Segment (SS), Interface and Security Segment (ISS), Contract Segment (CS), Tower Segment (TS), Operation Segment (OS) and DVCSS has started. All the Site Acceptance Tests associated with the ATMS program were completed by 18 December 2009.
3.
The console replacement for the Songshan tower was complished on 18 November 2009.
4.
The Advanced Training for the ATMS Program has completed by 16 October 2009. The remaining ATMS Hardware Maintenance Course is scheduled to be conducted from 18 January to 12 February 2010.
