CNS/ATM System Program Office (SPO)
In October, 2003, the CAA completed the CNS/ATM consultancy program selection process, and selected the joint business team of MITRE, Airways International, Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), as the consultancy team. A System Program Office (SPO) was established to manage the CNS/ATM program, to monitor international progress, to minimize the common risks of system development by using the latest proven technologies, and to ensure appropriate investment of time, effort, and funds. Figure 1 shows the SPO organization.
