CNS/ATM System Program Office (SPO)
To ensure that the CNS/ATM system can meet the requirements of the operational organizations, the CAA transferred the CNS/ATM Implementation Plan to ANWS for execution in October of 2003. The ANWS established a CNS/ATM System Program Office (SPO) immediately to implement the various systems identified in the CNS/ATM Plan. The SPO will be supervised by the deputy Director and ANWS Director will hold the position as the Director with four Deputy Directors and one Executive Secretary. There are six divisions which are Special Program, Administration, Operation, System, Construction, and Executive. The six divisions work closely with the Consultancy Team to conduct the CNS/ATM implementation in order to make sure the execution will meet all the requests from all the operational units Figure 1 shows the SPO organization.
