In response to the requirement for internationalization and standardization, unceasingly renewing and changing ourselves are insistent goals of the ANWS. The Air Navigation and Weather Services (ANWS) has contributed to its effort to reduce the potential danger factors as much as possible and to upgrade its capability in service quality management. Because internet has become the unchangeable trend, the ANWS assigns CNS/ATM System Program Office(SPO) to develop farseeing plans for The ANWS and the work it offers. Further, for the standardized operation and the goals of internationalization and standardization, The ANWS consistently supervise and monitor various work under ISO-9000-2001 and information security, and ensure that every unit does follow the standard procedure.
The efficiency of a unit should depend on not only the organization, but also its organization culture. The organization culture of the ANWS is “Law Abidance, Contribution, Team Work, and Brave Advance.” It is a fact that The ANWS has a large load of tasks. As long as we are a member of The ANWS, we have no right for despond and complainant─because aviation safety replies on extreme cautions. There is saying “Rely not on the likelihood of the enemy's not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him”. We can’t stop the storm but we can be prepared for it. In addition, the innovation and growth of the organization depends on unceasingly effort for production, complemented with a good management philosophy. If The ANWS wants to reach the climax once again, it also needs to make changes in concepts of management. The era for individual fights is past. To face the challenges in the future, good institutional plans are required. Therefore, to strengthen the cooperation mechanism among units, break the selfish departmentalism, create the go-through-thick-and-thin culture, and demonstrate the best organizational efficiency. However, “laws itself will not make things work”. A good plan and system will require excellent people for implementation. Human resources provide energy for organization. The professional training is also an important item on our task list. Staff in each category will hone their profession through more training, according to the annual training plan, so that they can develop a broader perspective, learn the update fast, provide constructive suggestion in the right moment, improve the procedure in the future, and upgrade the planning capabilities and required skills and the unit. All the partner in The ANWS should expect themselves with borderless service, limitless services, and 100% aviation safety. The honor from the past comes from common effort of all of us. The future depends on the participation from us. May The ANWS will continue to grow in our contribution.
