The Organization Act of the Air Navigation and Weather Services under the Civil Aeronautics Administration of the MOTC was enacted and promulgated on June 24 1998.
July 1972
In July 1972, the Executive Yuan approved the establishment of the Air Navigation and Weather Services (ANWS) as a professional and international fourth-level administrative agency.
September 1969
In September 1969, the Civil Aeronautics Administration Flight Control Department, Aeronautical Communication Station, Flight Navigation Station, and Taipei Weather Station were combined to form the Air Navigation and Weather Services through functional integration.
